Atlas of Minimally Invasive Surgery





Purpose. This web site describes the biomedical research and related activities of the Carlson Lab at the Omaha Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC). The Lab is affiliated with the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC).

About. Dr. Carlson is a Professor of Surgery at UNMC and a staff surgeon at the VAMC in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. His research interests include cancer, wound healing, hemostasis, and large animal modeling of human disease. His clinical interests include general and minimally invasive abdominal surgery, and oncologic (cancer) surgery of the abdomen. Dr. Carlson's contact information is available here.
